METER GAUGE AND WARNING INDICATOR

METER/GAUGE

Item	Signal Description
Speedometer	Indicates vehicle speed based on signal received from brake actuator assembly (CAN).
Tachometer	Indicates engine speed based on signal received from ECM (CAN).
Fuel Gauge	Indicates fuel level based on signal received from fuel sender gauge assembly (Direct line).
ODO/TRIP meter	Calculates accumulated total vehicle travel distance and vehicle travel distance since ODO/TRIP switch pressed.

WARNING/INDICATOR

Item	Signal Description
Beam	Receives beam signal from DIMMER relay (Direct line).
Turn	Receives turn signal from turn signal flasher relay (Direct line).
Brake	Receives brake fluid level warning signal from brake level warning switch (Direct line). Receives parking brake switch signal from main body ECU (CAN). Receives malfunction signal from brake actuator assembly (CAN).
Door	Open door indicator illuminates when receiving signal from main body ECU (CAN).
Charge	Receives malfunction signal from generator assembly (Direct line).
Oil Pressure	Receives engine oil pressure warning signal from engine oil pressure switch assembly (Direct line).
Driver Side Seat Belt	Receives driver seat belt warning signal (unfastened) from center airbag sensor assembly (CAN).
SRS	Receives malfunction signal from center airbag sensor assembly (CAN).
EPS	Receives malfunction signal from power steering ECU (CAN).
MIL	Receives malfunction check engine warning signal from ECM (Direct line).
ABS	Receives malfunction signal from brake actuator assembly (CAN).
Fuel	Receives remaining fuel signal from fuel sender gauge assembly (Direct line).
Slip	Receives signal from brake actuator assembly (CAN).
Tail*1	Receives headlight dimmer switch condition signal from T-LP relay (Direct line).
Head*2	Receives headlight dimmer switch condition signal from H-LP relay (Direct line).
Tire Pressure	Receives malfunction signal from tire pressure warning ECU (Direct line).
MAINT REQD*2	Illuminates when oil is changed and vehicle is driven about 5000 miles (8000 km) Blinks when oil is changed and vehicle is driven about 4500 miles (7242 km) to 5000 miles (8000 km)
Hot Cool	Receives engine coolant temperature signal from ECM (CAN).
Cruise	Receives a cruise signal from the ECM (CAN).
SET	Receives a cruise SET signal from the ECM (CAN).
Security*1	Receives security indicator light signal from transponder key ECU assembly (Direct line).
VSC OFF	Receives VSC control off signal or VSC system fail-safe control signal from brake actuator assembly (CAN).
Washer*1	Receives washer level warning signal from washer level warning switch (Direct line).
TRAC OFF	Receives TRAC control off signal from brake actuator assembly (CAN).

BUZZER

Item	Signal Description
Seat Belt Warning	Buzzer ON: When ignition switch is ON, driver or passenger seat belt is unfastened, and vehicle speed is 20 km/h (12.4 mph) or more.
KEY Reminder	Buzzer ON: When ignition switch is off, key is inserted, and driver side door is open.
Skid Control Buzzer	Buzzer ON: Receives signal from brake actuator assembly.
Sequential Shift Reject*1	Buzzer ON: Receives signal from ECM.
Light Reminder	Buzzer ON: When ignition switch is off, light control switch is in TAIL position, and driver side door is open.
PKB Reminder	Buzzer ON: When ignition switch is ON, parking brake is operating, and vehicle speed is 5 km/h (3.1 mph) or more.
EPS Buzzer	Buzzer ON: Receives signal from power steering ECU.

CRUISE INFORMATION DISPLAY

Item		Signal Description
Cruise information	Instantaneous Fuel Consumption Average Fuel Consumption Since Refueling Possible Travel Distance Average Vehicle Speed Since Resetting Driving Time Since Resetting	The display can be switched using the DISP switch located on the lower left of the combination meter.
Cruise information	Clock Ambient Temperature	Displays the clock and ambient temperature.

LED CHECK

Check the indicator/warning light operation according to the condition(s) in the table below.

Indicator/Warning Light	Specification
BRAKE, ABS, SLIP, VSC OFF, HOT, MAINT REQD*1	Indicator/Warning light comes on for about 3 seconds after turning the ignition switch to ON.
SRS	Warning light comes on for about 6 seconds after turning the ignition switch to ON.
EPS, CHARGE, MIL, OIL PRESSURE	Indicator/Warning light comes on after turning the ignition switch to ON and the indicator light goes off after the engine starts.
