Inspection Procedure

1. Remove the METER fuse from the main body ECU.
2. Remove the ECU-B and IG2 fuse from the engine room relay block.
3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard resistance 

   TESTER CONNECTION SPECIFIED CONDITION CHART
   
   

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   METER fuse	Always	Below 1 Ω
   ECU-B fuse	Always	Below 1 Ω
   IG2 fuse	Always	Below 1 Ω

4. Reinstall the fuses.

NG : REPLACE FUSE 

OK: Go to next step 

1. Remove the integration relay from the engine room relay block (See INTEGRATION RELAY ).
2. Measure the resistance to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard resistance 

   TESTER CONNECTION SPECIFIED CONDITION CHART
   
   

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   1E-1 - 1A-4	Always	10 kΩ or higher
   	Battery voltage applied to terminals 1A-2 and 1A-3	Below 1 Ω

3. Reinstall the integration relay.

NG : REPLACE INTEGRATION RELAY  (See INTEGRATION RELAY ).

OK: Go to next step 

1. Disconnect the C37 meter connector.
2. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard voltage 

   TESTER CONNECTION SPECIFIED CONDITION VOLTAGE CHART
   
   

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   C37-1 (B) - Body ground	Always	11 to 14 V
   C37-2 (IG+) - Body ground	Ignition switch on (IG)	11 to 14 V

3. Measure the resistance according to the value in the table below.

   Standard resistance 

   TESTER CONNECTION SPECIFIED CONDITION RESISTANCE CHART
   
   

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   C37-24 (ET) - Body ground	Always	Below 1 Ω

NG : REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 

OK : REPLACE COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY  (See REMOVAL  )
