Typical Enabling Conditions

TYPICAL ENABLING CONDITIONS CHART

Monitor runs whenever the following DTCs are not present P0128 (Thermostat)
P0171, P0172 (Fuel system)
P0300, P0301, P0302, P0303, P0304 (Misfire)
P0420 (Catalyst)
P0505 (Idle speed control)
P050A (Cold start strategy)
Either of the following conditions A or B is met: -
A. Engine speed 1500 rpm or less
B. Starter OFF
Either of the following conditions C or D is met: -
C. Both of the following conditions (a) and (b) are met: -
(a) Engine speed 500 rpm or less
(b) Battery voltage 6 V or more
D. All of the following conditions (a), (b) and (c) are met: -
(a) Engine speed More than 500 rpm
(b) Battery voltage 10 V or more
(c) Number of sparks after CPU reset 5 sparks or more
