Terminals Of Ecu

  1. CHECK MAIN BODY ECU

    1. Disconnect the 4B, 4D and 4E main body ECU (vehicle rear side) connectors.
    2. Measure the resistance and voltages of the wire harness side connectors.

      Standard: 

      CONNECTOR TERMINAL REFERENCE

      Terminal No. (Symbol) Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      4B-30 (BECU) - 4E-17 (GND1) L - W-B Battery (Power supply) Always 11 to 14 V
      4D-7 (KSW) - Body ground Y - Body ground Key unlock warning switch signal No key is in ignition key cylinder 10 kΩ or higher
      4D-7 (KSW) - Body ground Y - Body ground Key unlock warning switch signal Key is in ignition key cylinder Below 1 Ω
      4E-17 (GND1) - Body ground W-B - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 Ω

      If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction in the wire harness.

    3. Reconnect the main body ECU (vehicle rear side) connectors.
    4. Measure the voltages of the wire harness side connectors.

      Standard voltage:

      4A-24 (PCTY) - Body ground L - Body ground Front passenger door courtesy light switch input Passenger door closed 11 to 14 V
      4A-24 (PCTY) - Body ground L - Body ground Front passenger door courtesy light switch input Passenger door open 0 V
      4A-20 (RRTY) - Body ground L - Body ground Rear RH door courtesy light switch input Rear RH door closed 11 to 14 V
      4A-20 (RRTY) - Body ground L - Body ground Rear RH door courtesy light switch input Rear RH door open 0 V
      4A-5 (RRTY) - Body ground G - Body ground Rear LH door courtesy light switch input Rear LH door closed 11 to 14 V
      4A-5 (RRTY) - Body ground G - Body ground Rear LH door courtesy light switch input Rear LH door open 0 V
      4A-7 (BCTY) - Body ground SB- Body ground Back door courtesy switch input Back door closed 11 to 14 V

      If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.
