DTC Check / Clear

CHECK DTC
1. Connect a Techstream to the DLC3.
2. Turn the ignition switch on and turn the tester on.
3. Enter the following menu items: Body Electrical / (desired system) / Trouble Codes.
4. Check for DTCs and then write them down.

  Refer to the tester operator's manual for further details.
5. Confirm the details of the DTCs (see DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE CHART ).
CLEAR DTC
1. Connect a Techstream to the DLC3.
2. Turn the ignition switch on and turn the tester on.
3. Enter the following menu items: Body Electrical / (desired system) / Trouble Codes.

4. Erase DTCs by pressing the YES button on the tester.
