Inspection Procedure

1. Remove the GAUGE fuse from the instrument panel junction block.
2. Remove the DOME and AM2 fuses from the engine room relay block.
3. Measure the resistance of the fuses.

   Standard resistance: 

   Below 1 Ω 

NG : REPLACE FUSE 

OK : Go to Next Step 

1. Disconnect the C6 meter connector.
2. Measure the voltage of the wire harness side connector.

   Standard voltage 

   TESTER CONNECTION SPECIFIED CONDITION
   
   

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   C6-1 - Body ground	Always	10 to 14 V
   C6-23 - Body ground	Ignition switch ON
   	Ignition switch OFF	Below 1 V
   C6-40 - Body ground	Ignition switch ON	10 to 14 V
   	Ignition switch OFF	Below 1 V

3. Measure the resistance of the wire harness side connector.

   Standard resistance 

   TESTER CONNECTION SPECIFIED CONDITION
   
   

   Tester Connection	Specified Condition
   C6-21 - Body ground	Below 1 Ω

NG : REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS AND CONNECTOR 

OK : REPLACE COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY
