Inspection Procedure

1. Disconnect the C6 meter connector.
2. Measure the voltage of the wire harness side connector.

   Standard voltage 

   TESTER CONNECTION AND SPECIFIED CONDITION
   
   

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   C6-24 - Body ground	Ignition switch ON	10 to 14 V

OK : Go to step   4 

NG: Go to next step 

1. Remove the A/C control assembly.
2. Measure the voltage of the belt warning light.

   Standard voltage 

   TESTER CONNECTION AND SPECIFIED CONDITION
   
   

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   20 - 35	Sit in the passenger seat and turn the ignition switch ON	8 to 12 V

   NG : REPLACE A/C CONTROL ASSEMBLY (PASSENGER SEAT BELT WARNING LIGHT) 

   OK : Go to next step 

1. Disconnect the C6 meter connector.
2. Disconnect the A7 A/C control connector.
3. Measure the resistance of the wire harness side connectors.

   Standard resistance 

   TESTER CONNECTION AND SPECIFIED CONDITION
   
   

   Tester Connection	Specified Condition
   C6-24 - A7-35	Below 1 Ω
   C6-24 - Body ground	10 kΩ or higher

   NG : REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS AND CONNECTOR 

   OK : REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (GAUGE FUSE CIRCUIT) 

1. Measure the voltage of the meter.

   Standard voltage 

   TESTER CONNECTION AND SPECIFIED CONDITION
   
   

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   C6-22 - Body ground	Indicator light OFF	10 to 14 V
   C6-22 - Body ground	Indicator light ON	Below 1 V

   NG : REPLACE COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY 

   OK : Go to next step 

1. Disconnect the F8 belt connector.
2. Measure the resistance of the belt.

   Standard resistance 

   TESTER CONNECTION AND SPECIFIED CONDITION
   
   

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   1 - 3	Seat belt is fastened (sit in passenger seat)	Below 1 Ω
   1 - 3	Seat belt is unfastened (sit in passenger seat)	1 kΩ or higher

   NG : REPLACE FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY (PASSENGER SIDE) 

   OK : Go to next step 

1. Disconnect the F8 belt connector..
2. Disconnect the C6 meter connector.
3. Measure the resistance of the wire harness side connectors.

   Standard resistance 

   TESTER CONNECTION AND SPECIFIED CONDITION
   
   

   Tester Connection	Specified Condition
   F8-3 - C6-22	Below 1 Ω
   F8-1 - Body ground	Below 1 Ω
   C6-22 - Body ground	10 kΩ or higher
