Water Pump ASSY: Replacement

DRAIN ENGINE COOLANT (See REPLACEMENT )
REMOVE FAN AND GENERATOR V BELT (See REPLACEMENT )
REMOVE ENGINE MOUNTING INSULATOR SUB-ASSY RH (See REPLACEMENT )
REMOVE WATER PUMP PULLEY
1. Using SST, hold the pump pulley.
2. Remove the 3 bolts and the pump pulley.
  SST 09960-10010 (09962-01000, 09963-00600)

REMOVE WATER PUMP ASSY
1. Remove the 3 bolts and the 2 nuts.
2. Remove the water pump and gasket.

INSTALL WATER PUMP ASSY
1. Install the water pump and a new gasket with the 3 bolts and 2 nuts.
  Torque: 11 N.m (112 kgf.cm, 8.1 ft.lbf)

INSTALL WATER PUMP PULLEY
1. Using SST, install the pump pulley with the 3 bolts.
  Torque: 15 N.m (153 kgf.cm, 11 ft.lbf)
  
  SST 09960-10010 (09962-01000, 09963-00600)

INSTALL ENGINE MOUNTING INSULATOR SUB-ASSY RH (See REPLACEMENT )
INSTALL FAN AND GENERATOR V BELT
1. Temporarily install the V-ribbed belt onto each pulley.
ADJUST FAN AND GENERATOR V BELT (See REPLACEMENT )
INSPECT DRIVE BELT DEFLECTION AND TENSION (See INSPECTION )
ADD ENGINE COOLANT (See REPLACEMENT )
CHECK FOR ENGINE COOLANT LEAKS (See ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION )
