How To Proceed With Troubleshooting

HINT:

The hand-held tester can be used in steps  3,  6,  9, and  12.

  1. Vehicle Brought to Workshop 
    1. NEXT 
  2. (See  CUSTOMER PROBLEM ANALYSIS CHECK   )

  3. Check and Clear DTCs and Freeze Frame Data (See  DTC CHECK/CLEAR   ) 
    1. NEXT 
  4. Problem Symptom Confirmation (See  PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE   )

    Result Proceed to
    Symptom does not occur A
    Symptom occurs B
    1. B : Go to step   6 
    2. A : GO TO NEXT STEP.
