Inspection Procedure

  1. CHECK WIRE HARNESS (SKID CONTROL ECU - ECM) 
    1. Disconnect the skid control ECU connector and the ECM connector.
    2. Measure the resistance according to the table below.

      Standard: 

      TESTER CONNECTION AND SPECIFIED CONDITION

      Tester Connection Specified Condition
      S1-10 (NEO) - E6-17 (NEO) Below 1 Ω
      S1-10 (NEO) - Body ground 10 kΩ or higher

    1. NG : REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS AND CONNECTOR 
    2. OK : GO TO NEXT STEP. 
  2. INSPECT ECM TERMINAL VOLTAGE (NEO TERMINAL) 
    1. Measure the voltage according to the table below.

      Standard: 

      TESTER CONNECTION AND SPECIFIED CONDITION

      Tester Connection Engine Condition Specified Condition
      E6-17 (NEO) - Body ground OFF (Ignition switch ON) Alternating between 10 to 14 V and below 1 V
      E6-17 (NEO) - Body ground ON (Idling) Alternating between 10 to 14 V and below 1 V

    1. NG : REPLACE ECM 
    2. OK : IF THE SAME CODE IS STILL OUTPUT AFTER THE DTC IS DELETED, CHECK THE CONTACT CONDITION OF EACH CONNECTION
