Circuit Description

The skid control ECU receives engine revolution speed signals (NE signals) from the ECM.

DTC C1224/44 REFERENCE

DTC No. DTC Detecting Condition Trouble Area
C1224/44 Detection of either condition 1. or 2.:
  1. When the vehicle speed is 30 km/h (19 mph) or more and data reception from the ECM is in normal condition, open or short circuit of engine revolution signal continues for 10 sec. or more.
  2. When TRAC is in operation, open or short circuit of engine revolution signal continues for 0.24 sec. or more.
