Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the air cleaner outlet resonator. Refer to Air Cleaner Outlet Resonator Replacement .
  2. Remove the oil level indicator.

  3. If the vehicle is equipped with a engine oil cooler, remove the radiator surge tank outlet hose clip from the oil level indicator tube.

  4. Remove the engine harness clip (1) from the oil level indicator tube.

  5. Remove the fuel line clip from the oil level indicator tube.
  6. Remove the knock sensor clip from the oil level indicator tube.

  7. Remove the oil level indicator tube bolt.
  8. Remove the oil level indicator tube.
