Preliminary Procedure: Remove the turn signal switch bracket. Refer to Turn Signal Switch Bracket Replacement .
1	Ignition and Start Switch Housing Bolt CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . Procedure Use a small chisel and hammer to back out the ignition and start switch housing bolt counterclockwise and remove it. When installing a new ignition and start switch housing bolt continue to tighten it until the head shears off.
2	Ignition and Start Switch Housing Strap
3	Ignition and Start Switch Housing Procedure Disconnect any electrical connectors as needed. Turn the ignition lock cylinder to the run position in order to remove and install the ignition and start switch housing.
