Exhaust Rear Muffler Heat Shield Replacement

Removal Procedure




1. Remove the muffler with tailpipe. Refer to Exhaust Muffler Replacement (Service and Repair).
2. Remove the rear exhaust heat shield.
3. Loosen the 3 nuts (arrows).

Installation Procedure

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution (Fastener Caution).

1. Install the rear exhaust heat shield.

Tighten the 3 nuts to 6 Nm (53 lb in).

2. Install the muffler with tailpipe. Refer to Exhaust Muffler Replacement (Service and Repair).
