Radiator Surge Tank Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the battery. Refer to Battery Replacement (Battery Replacement).
2. Place the drain pan below the surge tank.




3. Remove the surge tank.

* Unclip the coolant hoses.
* Detach the coolant hoses (1).

Installation Procedure

1. Install the surge tank.
Attach the coolant hoses.
2. Install the battery. Refer to Battery Replacement (Battery Replacement).
3. Fill the cooling system. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling (Service and Repair).
