Parking Brake Indicator Switch Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the cover from the diagnostic plug.

* Release the 2 clamps.
* Release the cover.




2. Remove the parking brake trim.
Remove the trim starting from below, withdraw and remove in the direction of the arrow.
3. Remove the parking brake indicator switch.

* Disconnect the wiring harness plug (1).
* Remove the bolt (2).
* Remove the switch.

Installation Procedure

1. Install the parking brake indicator switch.

Tighten the parking brake indicator switch bolt to 6 Nm (53 lb in).
Connect the wiring harness plug.
2. Install the parking brake trip.
3. Install the diagnostic plug cover.
