Brake Rotor Assembled Lateral Runout Measurement




Warning: Refer to Brake Dust Warning (Brake Dust Warning).

1. Remove the relevant wheel. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation (Service and Repair).
2. Install the brake disc with the washers and the wheel bolts (3) to the wheel hub.
3. Install the magnetic base (1).
Set the tool to zero.
4. Turn the brake disc at least one revolution.

Note: If the lateral runout is greater than stated: remove brake disc and check contact surfaces. Check wheel hub for runout.
