Preliminary Procedure: Remove the turn signal switch bracket. Refer to Turn Signal Switch Bracket Replacement .
1	Ignition/Start Switch Housing Bolt NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice . Procedure Use a small chisel and hammer to back out the ignition/start switch housing bolt counterclockwise and remove it. When installing a new ignition/start switch housing bolt continue to tighten it until the head shears off.
2	Ignition/Start Switch Housing Strap
3	Ignition/Start Switch Housing Procedure: Disconnect any electrical connectors as needed. Tip: The ignition lock cylinder must be turned to the run position in order to remove and/or install the ignition/start switch housing.
