Engine Oil Pressure

The instrument panel cluster (IPC) illuminates the engine oil pressure (EOP) indicator when the engine control module (ECM) detects the EOP is low from the EOP sensor/switch. The ECM sends a serial data message to the body control module (BCM) indicating a low EOP condition. The IPC receives a serial data message from the BCM requesting the EOP indicator.
