Transmission Control Lever Knob Replacement (Solstice)

1	Passenger Assist Handle Bezel
2	Passenger Assist Handle Bolt (Qty: 2) NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice . Tighten: 10 N.m (89 lb in)
3	Instrument Panel Cluster Trim Plate Assembly Tip: Lift up lower edge of the instrument panel cluster trim plate assembly only enough to reach fingers underneath in order to release the shift lever bezel retaining tabs from the instrument panel cluster trim plate assembly.
4	Shift Lever Bezel Tip: If replacing ONLY the shift lever bezel, refer to Console Shift Lever Bezel Replacement (Solstice) .
5	Shift Indicator Procedure Lift the shift control indicator up for access. Disconnect the shift indicator electrical connector.
6	Shift Control Range Select Lever Clip
7	Shift Control Knob Retaining Screw Tip: It is not necessary to fully remove the shift control knob retaining screw. Tighten: 2.5 N.m (22 lb in).
8	Shift Control Knob Tip: If replacing the shift control knob, remove the shift lever bezel from the shift control indicator. Refer to Console Shift Lever Bezel Replacement (Solstice) .
