Removal Procedure

  1. Disable the SIR system. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling .
  2. Place the steering column in the lowest position.
  3. Remove the instrument panel (I/P) cluster trim plate. Refer to Instrument Cluster Trim Panel Replacement .

  4. Remove the fasteners from the upper and the lower cluster. Pull rearward to remove the I/P cluster.
  5. Disconnect the I/P cluster harness.
