Spring Jounce Bumper Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Vehicle Lifting.




2. Remove the jounce bumper nut at the lower control arm.
3. Remove the coil spring.




4. Remove the jounce bumper.

Installation Procedure




1. Install the jounce bumper to the lower control arm.
2. Hand tighten the jounce bumper nut.
3. Install the coil Spring.





Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice.

4. Tighten the jounce bumper to lower control arm nut.

Tighten the nut to 63 N.m (46 lb ft).

5. Lower the vehicle.
6. Check the rear alignment.
