Opening the Folding Top and Rear Compartment when the Buttress Latch Release Cable Malfunctions

Use special tool J42214 to activate the rear compartment lid buttress release latches in case of a cable failure. Carefully insert the tool underneath the folding top and into the buttress release latch assembly and pull on the retainer portion of the latch to release the folding top.
