Digital Radio Antenna Replacement

Removal Procedure




1. Remove the right windshield garnish molding.
2. Partially remove the upper portion of the right front door opening weatherstrip. Refer to Front Door Opening Weatherstrip Replacement.
3. Remove the right sunshade.
4. Partially lower the right front corner of the headliner.
5. Disconnect the antenna cables from the antenna base cable connectors.




6. Remove the antenna base bolt.




7. Disengage the retainers at the inside of the roof.




8. Remove the antenna base assembly.

Installation Procedure




1. Route the antenna base cables through the roof opening.




2. Install the antenna base to the roof.






Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice.

3. Secure the antenna base with the bolt.

Tighten the bolt to 3 N.m (27 lb in).

4. Connect the antenna cables to the antenna base cable connectors.
5. Raise the headliner into position.
6. Install the right sunshade.
7. Fully install the right front door opening weatherstrip. Refer to Front Door Opening Weatherstrip Replacement.
8. Install the right windshield garnish molding.
