Evaporative Emission Hoses/Pipes Replacement - Canister/Fuel Tank (Short Wheel Base)

Removal Procedure




1. Remove the fuel tank.
2. Disconnect and remove the evaporative emission (EVAP) canister purge pipe (6) from the EVAP canister (1).
3. Disconnect the EVAP canister vent solenoid pipe from the EVAP canister (1) and EVAP canister vent solenoid (2).
4. Remove the EVAP canister vent solenoid pipe from the fuel tank.
5. Disconnect the EVAP pipe assembly from the EVAP canister (1) and fuel sender module (3).
6. Remove the EVAP pipe assembly from the fuel tank.

Installation Procedure




1. Install the EVAP pipe assembly to the fuel tank.
2. Connect the EVAP pipe assembly to the EVAP canister (1) and fuel sender module (3).
3. Install the EVAP canister vent solenoid pipe to the fuel tank.
4. Connect the EVAP canister vent solenoid pipe to the EVAP canister (1) and EVAP canister vent solenoid (2).
5. Install and connect the EVAP canister purge pipe (6) to the EVAP canister (1).
6. Install the fuel tank.
