Evaporative Emission Hoses/Pipes Replacement - Canister/Fuel Tank (Long Wheel Base)

Removal Procedure




1. Remove the fuel tank.
2. Disconnect the evaporative emission (EVAP) canister purge pipe (6) from the EVAP canister (2).
3. Remove the EVAP canister purge pipe from the fuel tank retainer.
4. Disconnect the EVAP canister vent solenoid pipe from the EVAP canister (2) and EVAP canister vent solenoid (3).
5. Remove the EVAP canister vent solenoid pipe from the fuel tank.
6. Disconnect the EVAP pipe assembly from the EVAP canister (2) and fuel sender module (4).
7. Remove the EVAP pipe assembly from the fuel tank.

Installation Procedure




1. Install the EVAP pipe assembly to the fuel tank.
2. Connect the EVAP pipe assembly to the EVAP canister (2) and fuel sender module (4).
3. Install the EVAP canister vent solenoid pipe to the fuel tank.
4. Connect the EVAP canister vent solenoid pipe to the EVAP canister (2) and EVAP canister vent solenoid (3).
5. Install the EVAP canister purge pipe (6) into the fuel tank retainer.
6. Connect the EVAP canister purge pipe (6) to the EVAP canister (2).
7. Install the fuel tank.
