CAUTION: Replace the passenger presence system as a complete assembly to prevent possible injury to the occupant. All the components in the service kit are assembled and calibrated as a unit. Using only some of the components in the service kit will cause the passenger presence system to operate improperly. Caution: To avoid personal injuries, re-zero the passenger presence system whenever you remove or replace the seat cushion or trim. Failure to do so may cause the system to malfunction. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice . Fastener Tightening Specifications: Refer to Fastener Tightening Specifications . Preliminary Procedure Remove the front bucket seat. Refer to Seat Replacement - Front Bucket . Remove the recliner handle. Refer to Seat Back Recliner Handle Replacement - Front (Non-Fold Flat) . Remove the seat cushion outer trim panel. Refer to Seat Cushion Outer Trim Panel Replacement - Front Seat (4-Way) or Seat Cushion Outer Trim Panel Replacement - Front Seat (2-Way) or Seat Cushion Outer Trim Panel Replacement - Front Seat (6-Way) . Re-zero the inflatable restraint passenger presence system whenever the seat cushion or any component of the passenger presence system is removed. Refer to Passenger Presence System Rezeroing Procedure .
1	Cover, Passenger Seat Cushion Refer to Seat Cushion Cover and Pad Replacement - Front .
2	Heater, Seat Cushion Tip: Disconnect the electrical connector.
3	Sensor, Inflatable Restraint Passenger Presence System Tip: 1. Note the routing of the wiring harness and connector location for installation. 2. Disconnect the electrical connector.
4	Pad, Passenger Seat Cushion
5	Screw, Inflatable Restraint Passenger Presence Module (Qty: 3) Tighten: 2 N.m (18 lb in)
6	Module, Inflatable Restraint Passenger Presence Module Tip: Remove module from bracket to replace. Refer to Control Module References for programming and setup information.
