Installation Procedure

  1. Position the transmission mount to the frame rail.
    2. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  2. Install the transmission mount to frame rail bolts.

    Tighten:  Tighten the bolts to 37 N.m (27 lb ft).

  3. Install the transmission mount to transmission bolts.

    Tighten:  Tighten the bolts to 55 N.m (41 lb ft).

  4. Install the battery tray. Refer to Battery Tray Replacement (L61) or Battery Tray Replacement (L66) in Engine Electrical.
  5. Remove the engine support fixture. Refer to Engine Support Fixture in Engine Mechanical.
