Installation Procedure

  1. Install the automatic transmission control.
    2. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  2. Install the automatic transmission control nuts.

    Tighten:  Tighten the nuts to 25 N.m(18 lb ft).

  3. Connect the electrical connector.

  4. Install the park lock cable to the shift control. Refer to Park Lock Cable Replacement

  5. Install the range select lever cable to the automatic transmission control.
  6. Install the instrument panel storage compartment. Refer to Storage Compartment Replacement - Instrument Panel (I/P) in Instrument Panel, Gauges and Console.
  7. Install the console shift lever bezel. Refer to Console Shift Lever Bezel Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gauges and Console.
  8. If the shift control knob was previously removed. Refer to Floor Shift Control Knob Replacement .
