Installation Procedure

  1. Install the shift control knob (2) to the shift control lever (1).
    2. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

  2. Install the shift control knob screw (2) if previously removed.

    Tighten:  Tighten the screw to 1.5 N.m(13 lb in).

  3. Lift the shift control knob trim ring (1) up to the shift control knob until a click sound is heard indicating the trim ring (1) is secured to the shift knob (2).
  4. Check for proper operation of the shift control knob Button through all gear ranges.
