Removal Procedure

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in General Information.
  2. Remove the right tire and wheel assembly. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation in Tires and Wheels.
  3. Remove the intermediate drive shaft. Refer to Intermediate Shaft Replacement (L61) or Intermediate Shaft Replacement (L66) in Wheel Drive Shafts.
  4. Using the SA9113T  , remove the axle seal by threading the SA9133T through the steel seal body as close to the outside diameter as possible.
