Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the fuel tank. Refer to Fuel Tank Replacement (Long Wheel Base)  or Fuel Tank Replacement (Short Wheel Base) .
    2. Fig 1: Identifying Fuel Tank And Related Components

  2. Disconnect the electrical harness connector (4) from the evaporative emission (EVAP) canister vent valve.
  3. Disconnect the EVAP vent hose from the EVAP canister vent valve (2).
  4. Release the lock tab on the EVAP canister vent bracket and remove the EVAP canister vent valve.
