Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the fuel tank. Refer to Fuel Tank Replacement (Long Wheel Base)  or Fuel Tank Replacement (Short Wheel Base) .
    2. Fig 1: Locating Fuel Tank And EVAP Components

  2. Disconnect the evaporative emission (EVAP) canister vent pipe (6) from the EVAP canister (2).
  3. Disconnect the EVAP canister vapor pipe from the EVAP canister.
  4. Disconnect the EVAP canister purge pipe from the EVAP canister.
  5. Remove the EVAP canister (2) from the fuel tank.
