Installation Procedure

    IMPORTANT: High resistance is normal when installing the EVAP canister.
  1. Position and push the EVAP canister (2) into the EVAP canister bracket of the fuel tank.
  2. Pull up on the EVAP canister (2) to ensure a proper lock to the fuel tank bracket.
  3. Connect the EVAP canister purge pipe to the EVAP canister.
  4. Connect the EVAP canister vapor pipe to the EVAP canister.
  5. Connect the EVAP canister vent pipe (6) to the EVAP canister (2).
  6. Install the fuel tank. Refer to Fuel Tank Replacement (Long Wheel Base)  or Fuel Tank Replacement (Short Wheel Base) .
