Installation Procedure

  1. Position the right engine mount strut bracket over the pin locator.
    2. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  2. Install the lower engine mount strut bracket bolt through the right engine mount strut bracket into the cylinder block.

    Tighten:  Tighten the engine mount strut bracket bolt to 50 N.m (37 lb ft).

  3. Install the vertical engine mount strut bracket bolt through the right engine mount strut bracket to the cylinder head.

    Tighten:  Tighten the engine mount strut bracket bolt to 50 N.m (37 lb ft).

  4. Install the air conditioning compressor. Refer to Compressor Replacement (LX9) or Compressor Replacement (LZ9) in HVAC Systems - Manual.
  5. Install the drive belt. Refer to Drive Belt Replacement .
  6. Install the engine wiring harness bracket bolt.

    Tighten:  Tighten the engine wiring harness bracket bolt to 13 N.m (110 lb in).

  7. Install the engine oil cooler coolant line bracket bolt, if equipped.

  8. Install the right engine mount strut to the right engine mount strut bracket. Refer to Engine Mount Strut Replacement - Right Side .
