Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the left engine mount strut from the left engine mount strut bracket. Refer to Engine Mount Strut Replacement - Left Side .
  2. Remove the thermostat housing. Refer to Engine Coolant Thermostat Replacement (RPO LX9) or Engine Coolant Thermostat Replacement (RPO LZ9) in Engine Cooling.

  3. Remove the engine mount strut bracket bolts from the left engine mount strut bracket to the cylinder head.
  4. Remove the left engine mount strut bracket.
