Exhaust Crossover Pipe Installation

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .

Install the exhaust crossover pipe studs if necessary (1).
Tighten: Tighten the exhaust crossover pipe studs to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).
Install the exhaust crossover pipe (3).

NOTE: When tightening the exhaust crossover pipe nuts be sure the pipe is in its original location, approximately 6.35 mm (0.25 in) from the thermostat housing. If the pipe is not installed in the correct location it could possibly contact this housing. If there is contact between the exhaust crossover pipe and thermostat housing, engine performance could be affected.

Install the exhaust crossover pipe nuts (2).
Tighten: Tighten the exhaust crossover pipe nuts to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).
