Rear Disc Brake Pads: Installation
NOTE:
Always replace brake pads in axle sets.
- Install NEW brake pads into caliper.
- Apply a small amount of silicone grease to retaining pins. Ensure brake pads move freely in guide.
- Install brake pad retaining spring, and drive the brake pad retaining pins in from the inside outward.
- Install rear wheels. Tighten lug nuts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
- Prior to operating vehicle, depress brake a few times until brake pads are seated against the rotor.
