Front Brake Rotor: Removal

  1. Raise vehicle on a hoist.
  2. Remove front wheels.
  3. Pry off locking plate and remove brake pressure hose from strut.
  4. Remove caliper bracket-to-steering knuckle bolts.
  5. Suspend caliper using wire.
  6. Remove rotor retaining screw.
  7. Remove rotor from vehicle. Check rotor thickness. See DISC BRAKE SPECIFICATIONS  .
