Installation Procedure

  1. Install the compartment partially into the opening.
  2. Connect the electrical connectors to the BCM.

  3. Route the glove box lamp wiring harness through the lamp opening. Connect the electrical connector.
  4. Push on the lamp assembly until the assembly clicks into place.
    5. NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.
  5. Install the glove compartment fastener.

    Tighten:  Tighten the fasteners to 2.5 N.m (22 lb in).

  6. Install the retainer.
  7. Install the compartment door. Refer to Door Replacement - Instrument Panel (I/P) Compartment .
