Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the power supply fuse.
  2. Lift the cover.
    3. Fig 1: Inserting Special Tool J 42059 Into Socket Sleeve

  3. Insert J 42059 into the socket sleeve. Tilt the tool into the slots on the sides of the socket sleeve.
  4. Hold the plastic ring in place. Gently pull the socket out to remove the outlet.
  5. Disconnect the electrical connector from the socket.
