Removal Procedure

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in General Information.
  2. Remove the front fascia. Refer to Fascia Replacement - Front Bumper .
  3. Remove the energy absorber. Refer to Energy Absorber Replacement - Front .

  4. Remove the electrical harness clip from the impact bar.

  5. Remove the nuts that secure the impact bar to the lower tie bar.
  6. Remove the impact bar from the lower tie bar.
