Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the rear fascia. Refer to Fascia Replacement - Rear Bumper in Bumpers.
  2. Remove the rear wheelhouse liner. Refer to Wheelhouse Liner Panel Replacement - Rear .
  3. Remove the front and rear roof moldings. Refer to Molding Replacement - Roof Weld Joint Reveal - Front (Coupe) or Molding Replacement - Roof Weld Joint Reveal - Front (Sedan) or to Molding Replacement - Roof Weld Joint Reveal - Rear (Coupe) or Molding Replacement - Roof Weld Joint Reveal - Rear (Sedan) in Exterior Trim.
  4. Remove the tail lamp. Refer to Tail Lamp Assembly and/or Backup, Sidemarker, Stop, Turn Signal Bulb Replacement in Lighting Systems.
  5. Remove the rocker panel moldings. Refer to Molding Replacement - Rocker Panel in Exterior Trim.

  6. Remove the attaching bolts above and below the tail lamp.
  7. Remove the remaining attaching bolts/nuts/screws from the quarter panel. Pull the rear bottom of the quarter panel outward. Remove the quarter panel.
