Compartment Lid Adjustment - Rear

  1. Adjust the deck lid cross-car by loosening the hinge to rear window lower panel nuts. Position the deck lid as needed.
  2. Adjust the front of the deck lid fore and aft, and up and down, by loosening the deck lid to hinge arm bolts. Position as needed.
  3. Adjust the rear of the deck lid by adjusting the lock striker up and down.
    4. NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.
  4. Install the rear compartment lid hinge to rear window lower panel nuts.

    Tighten:  Tighten the nuts to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

  5. Install the rear compartment deck lid to hinge arm bolts.

    Tighten:  Tighten the nuts to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

  6. Tighten the latch striker bolts when the adjustments are complete.

    Tighten:  Tighten the bolts to 10 N.m (89 lb in).
