Removal Procedure

  1. Disable the SIR system. Refer to DISABLING & ACTIVATING AIR BAG SYSTEM in Airbag.
  2. Remove the inflatable restraint steering wheel module. Refer to STEERING WHEEL in Airbag.
  3. Remove the steering wheel. Refer to Steering Wheel Replacement .

  4. Place the steering wheel face down on a clean surface.
  5. Remove the steering wheel shroud screws.
  6. Remove the steering wheel shroud.
