Removal & Installation

NOTE: Rear axle hubs are not serviceable. If hub is excessively worn or damaged, replace as an assembly. On ABS-equipped vehicles, wheel speed sensor is part of hub assembly.

Raise and support vehicle. Remove wheel. Remove brake drum. On vehicles equipped with ABS, disconnect wheel speed sensor connector behind the hub assembly. On all vehicles, remove 4 hub bolts. Remove hub assembly. To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten hub assembly bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
