Disassembly Procedure

  1. Remove the screws attaching the inside compartment to the I/P compartment door.
  2. Push the I/P door pins from inside of the compartment to the outside of the I/P compartment door.
  3. Remove the I/P compartment from the I/P compartment door.
  4. Remove the I/P compartment retainer bushing.
  5. Pry between the I/P compartment retainer bushing and the I/P compartment door with a small screwdriver.
  6. Remove the I/P compartment latch.
    1. Remove the screws attaching the latch to the I/P compartment door.
    2. Remove the rod from the retainers on the handle assembly.
    3. Remove the latch and rod assembly from the I/P compartment door.

  7. Remove the U-clip from handle assembly.
  8. Remove the handle assembly from the I/P compartment door.
