Installation Procedure

  1. Install the drain hose by feeding it downward from the upper drain hose opening of the spaceframe. The hose will appear in the lower drain hose opening in the lock pillar area.
  2. Pull the hose through the lower spaceframe opening, far enough to install the grommet.

  3. Install the hose to the grommet and the grommet into the lower spaceframe opening.

  4. Connect the upper end of the hose to the sunroof module.
    5. IMPORTANT: Inspect the drain hose for kinks. If necessary, cut the hose to the required length to ensure that the hose is not kinked.
  5. Pour water down from the sunroof tray and inspect for leaks. Repair if a leak is detected.

  6. Install the rear quarter panel. Refer to QUARTER PANEL REPLACEMENT - BOLT ON (WAGON) , QUARTER PANEL REPLACEMENT - BOLT ON (SEDAN) or QUARTER PANEL REPLACEMENT - BOLT ON (COUPE) in Body Rear End article.
  7. Install the headliner. Refer to Headlining Trim Panel Replacement (Sedan - 1st Design) or Headlining Trim Panel Replacement (Sedan - 2nd Design) or Headlining Trim Panel Replacement (Wagon - 1st Design) or Headlining Trim Panel Replacement (Wagon - 2nd Design) or Headlining Trim Panel Replacement (Coupe - 1st Design) or Headlining Trim Panel Replacement (Coupe - 2nd Design) in Interior Trim.
