Installation Procedure

    IMPORTANT: If reusing the bumper impact bar after a rear-end collision, inspect bar for damage. If the bar is not torn or cracked and retains its shape, it can be reused.
  1. Position the impact bar to rear end structure.
    2. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  2. Install the attaching nuts and bolts.

    Tighten:  Tighten the bolts to 30 N.m (22 lb ft).

  3. Install the fascia. Refer to Rear Bumper Fascia Replacement (Coupe)  or Rear Bumper Fascia Replacement (Sedan)  or Rear Bumper Fascia Replacement (Wagon) .
