Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the rear seat cushions. Refer to Rear Seat Cushion Replacement (Coupe)  or Rear Seat Cushion Replacement (Sedan/Wagon) .
  2. Cut the hog rings (1), attaching the outer perimeter of the seat cover to the seat cushion frame with sidecutters. Disengage the seat cover (2) at the seat belt buckle pass through and around the perimeter of the seat cover.
  3. Raise the cover to expose the hog rings (1), attaching the cover to the foam pad.
  4. Starting at one end of the cushion and working toward the other, cut the hog rings (1) with sidecutters and disengage the seat cover (2) listing wires from the hog rings.

    IMPORTANT: When disengaging the hook and loop attachments between the seat cover and the seat cushion foam pad, be careful not to tear the hook and loop backing from the foam pad.
  6. Carefully, disengage the hook and loop attachments, attaching the seat cushion cover to the seat cushion foam pad and remove the cover from the seat cover.
  7. With the seat back cover removed, remove all of the remaining hog ring pieces from the foam pad. Refer to the following:
    • Seat Cover (1)
    • Old Hog Ring (2)
    • Seat Foam Pad Listing Wire (3)
